The Climate Line 5000i air conditioner from Bosch combines various comfort features with stylish Bosch design for both indoor and outdoor units. It offers high quality air conditioning by purifying the air we breathe.
A single split air conditioner system consists of one indoor and one outdoor unit which are connected by copper pipes. There are two pipe connections (liquid/gas) on both indoor and outdoor units with a special cooling refrigerant that transports the heat from the room to the outdoor ambient.
The Climate Line inverter units offer efficient cooling and heating with Eco mode and a gear changer to save energy and reduce costs. The "Wind avoid me" feature lets you adjust the wind direction to prevent direct air flow. Reduce bacteria and viruses which surround you with the i-Clean and ionizer technology. Its state-of-the-art filter technology, including cold catalyst, bio, and high-density filters, ensures consistently fresh and clean air.

Eco Mode
The unit works at a lower level of power consumption than usual and reduces your energy consumption
With this mode, the power consumption will decrease to approximately 20% for 8 hours. High compressor frequecy and fan speed will be limited in this mode.
Gear Mode
The gear changes between three different power options to save energy and reduce your costs
The inverter type split air conditioners offer three maximum output levels: 50%, 75% and 100%.
It is possible to limit the power consumption if the cooling need is low. By choosing a lower level, energy consumption will decrease.
Wind avoid me
Avoid air blowing directly on you by using the remote control to adjust the wind direction.
'Breeze away' function (only for cooling, fan only and drying mode) helps to adjust the air flow direction in order to avoid a direct stream to the user. By choosing this function over SET button, the horizontal louver moves to the upper position.
i-Clean Funtion
The i-Clean function eliminates up to 99% of bacteria in the indoor coil by heating up theevaporator to 56°C.
This function, (30min in total) enables to wash away dust, mold and grease on the heat exchanger surface in order to avoid odours and bacteria.
- Step 1: Compressor runs with maximum frequency and Indoor unit fan 60% for 10min.
- Step 2: Compressor runs with maximum frequency and Indoor unit fan stops for 7min. Afterwards Indoor Unit fan runs with 150rpm for 3min.
- Step 3: Switching to high heat mode. The water melts and flows away with mold / dust particles. At the same time, evaporator surface is being cleaned up.
- Step 4: Indoor fan runs for 2-3 min to cool the evaporator back.
Ionizer Technology
The ionizer technology neutralizes harmful elements in the environment such as dust, bacteria, mold and viruses.
By pressing the 'Fresh' button on the remote controller, this function will be activated (always active).
An air ionizer uses polarity principle (ionization) for cleaning the air.
Positive and negative ions (>3.000 ions/cm³) are produced in order to neutralise dust particles and harmful elements like bacteria, mold spores and viruses.
The ionizer creates negatively charged gas ions (anions). Negative ions trap airborne particles by electrostatic attraction and force them to fall down as the bundle is heavier than the air in the room.
Follow me Function
The room temperature sensor built in remote controller is activated and replaces the one in indoor unit. The air conditioner will regulate the room temperature based on the temperature around the remote controller, just like the air conditioner is following the user.
Press the “SET” button on remote controller to select this function and then press OK. Then the remote controller will send PCB the signal every 3 minutes. If the PCB receives no signal for 7 minutes or “SET” button is pressed again, the follow me function will be quitted.
