1.2 Instructions
This page contains enhanced screening guides for our nonclassic/ compact gas tankless water heaters.
If a contractor is not on site, you can go to the error code they are dealing with and see what some causes are under the "Why" section of the enhanced screening. This will give some direction the contractor can use when they are on site.Use the "Model Number" section to the right to find what type of design a particular model is (EX: 250SX is a World 1 design). Then go to that section below to find the guide for that unit.
NOTE:
Model numbers with a "C" at the beginning is a condensing unit. Model numbers with a "C" at the end is a commercial unit. The guide will contain a picture of the unit with the cover off. The error codes are listed on the sides with an arrow pointing to where in the unit the error code originates. Click on the error code you are dealing with and it will bring you to the enhanced screening page for that error that gives general reasons for the code and the questions to get answers for to record in ISM.
