Bosch MC Series
The MC Series large capacity water-to-air heat pumps offer high efficiency, value added features and multi-levels of capacity. Equipped with standard features like scroll compressors, variable air volume and 100% outside air capability giving you the flexibility, performance and quiet operation needed to exceed the expectations of your clients. Bosch MC Series come equipped with an A2L refrigerant, R-454B, meeting low-global warming potential (Low-GWP) requirements.
Quiet Comfort
Proper acoustical considerations are a critical part of every system’s design and operation. Multiple scroll compressors, equipment liners, balanced fans, and heavy-duty construction makes the MC Series inherently quiet. The closed-cell foam insulation (optional) also helps to provide cleaner, fiber-free air and reduces sound transmission. Lastly, the hot gas reheat (HGRH) option allows for the control of space temperature and humidity levels within conditioned space.
Service-Friendly
All MC Series units are designed to be serviced from the front of the unit. Schrader valves for the high- and low-pressure gauges are standard, along with easily accessible electrical box components, making diagnosing and servicing the unit a simple task.
Low Global Warming Potential
Equipped with R-454B refrigerant, the MC Series is equipped with a low global warming potential A2L refrigerant, meeting the criteria of the AIM Act.
Robust and Durable Construction
The MC Series is built with a galvanized steel cabinet that provides strength and corrosion protection against the elements and includes durable scroll compressors. When the water quality is low, there is also an option to add a cupro-nickel coaxial heat exchanger to further protect against corrosion.
Safety
The MC Series comes equipped with several safety features, including: the unit protection module, dual refrigerant freeze sensors, condensate overflow protection, and an optional flow proving switch.
Quality Design & Efficiency
The MC Series has several relay options, including blower monitor relay, compressor monitor relay, phase monitor relay, and pump/valve relay. Additional options for the MC include: boilerless control, a differential pressure switch, the option to wire to 208V, hot gas reheat (on/off or modulating), DDC controls, and a water side economizer.
