Subscribing to the IDS Connectivity Service unlocks several key benefits that enhance your ownership experience and can save you time and money:
Remote Monitoring & Control: The service allows you to remotely monitor your heat pump's performance, view its status, and access energy usage data directly from your EasyAir app, no matter where you are. This gives you peace of mind and insights into your system's efficiency.
Troubleshooting: You'll receive real-time notifications about any fault codes or issues with your unit. This means you can address potential problems quickly, often before they escalate into major breakdowns.
Empowering Your Contractor: A connected unit provides immense value to your service technician. With the service, your contractor can:
- Remotely Diagnose Issues: Before even arriving on site, your contractor can access critical diagnostic data and fault codes, allowing them to understand the problem better. This means they can often arrive with the correct parts and tools, leading to a faster and more efficient repair visit.
- Minimize Downtime: By pinpointing issues remotely, your contractor can reduce the time spent troubleshooting at your home, potentially getting your unit up and running quicker.
- Better Preparation: Remote access ensures they are fully prepared for the service call, enhancing the quality and speed of their work.
Essentially, you maintain continuous visibility into your system's health, receive timely alerts, and enable a more streamlined and effective service experience with your contractor.

It's important to clarify that at this time, contractors cannot directly purchase or pay for a homeowner's IDS Connectivity Service subscription. The payment process is designed for homeowners to purchase directly through their personal App Store or Google Play accounts.
When your customers are subscribed to the service, your business benefits significantly through:
Remote Diagnostic Efficiency: You retain the ability to remotely access critical data, monitor unit health, and receive real-time fault code notifications for your customers' systems. This often allows you to diagnose issues even before dispatching a technician, potentially resolving minor problems over the phone or arriving at the job site with the exact parts and tools needed. This drastically reduces diagnostic time on site and minimizes unnecessary truck rolls.
Streamlined Service Visits: By having pre-visit insights, your technicians can be much more efficient. Faster diagnosis and prepared service mean less time spent per job, allowing you to complete more service calls per day and increase overall technician productivity.
Enhanced Customer Satisfaction & Retention: Homeowners appreciate the added value of a connected system and the efficient service you can provide. A positive service experience, enabled by remote insights, leads to higher satisfaction, positive referrals, and repeat business.
Competitive Edge: Leveraging smart, connected features positions your business as forward-thinking and technologically advanced. This can attract new customers who value modern conveniences and efficient service solutions.
In essence, while you can't pay for it directly, promoting homeowner subscription to the IDS Connectivity Service empowers you to deliver a more responsive, efficient, and ultimately more profitable service experience.

If I have multiple connected IDS units, do I need to pay for each one separately?
If I have multiple connected IDS units, do I need to pay for each one separately?
Yes, the payment is per device.
If you have multiple connected IDS heat pumps, you are required to make separate payments for each unit individually. This is largely due to each product having its own data contract with our cellular provider.
We may consider bundled options in the future, but currently, each unit requires its own purchased service period.
Can contractors pay for the service on behalf of their customers or offer contractor-specific pricing?

Currently, the pricing and purchase options are only available directly to homeowners through the EasyAir app.
Contractors are unable to make payments for these services on behalf of customers.
We may investigate ways to potentially extend payment options to contractors in the future, but this requires additional development.
