IDS Ultra Air Handler Unit
Pair the IDS Ultra Air Handler unit with the Bosch Ultra Series outdoor unit for a highly efficient cold climate heat pump system. The four-stage motor in the IDS Ultra Air Handler enables the air handler to stage up and down for enhanced comfort, energy savings, and superior humidity control. The air handler provides either standard 4-wire communication or new 2-wire digital communication to the IDS Ultra for enhanced control and performance.
Demand Response Feature
On extremely hot or frigid days, the load on the electrical grid may become too high, potentially causing blackouts. The demand response feature allows utilities (with the homeowner’s permission) to manage this intelligently. Utilities can predict when there will be peak demand on the grid and can remotely send a signal to the heat pump to heat or cool the space before or after this peak period of usage.
